General Terms

This website is operated by ATD Collective Ltd, trading as Antidote Studio. The terms "we", "us", "our" and "Antidote" refer to ATD Collective Ltd and/or Antidote Studio. The terms "Client", "you" and "your" refer to any person accessing the website, making a booking, purchasing a class, attending the studio or using our services.

By accessing www.antidote-studios.com, making a booking or attending a class, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, you should not use the website, make a booking or attend a class.

Antidote Studio reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. The version published on the website at the time of booking shall apply to the booking, unless otherwise required by law.
 

Services

Antidote Studio provides wellness and movement services, including but not limited to:

  • Pilates reformer classes
  • Pilates mat classes
  • Wellness-related services, events, workshops or similar activities

All classes and services are subject to availability, schedule changes, instructor availability and operational requirements. Antidote Studio may update its class schedule, service offering or operating hours when necessary.
 

Booking & Payments

Class Reservations

All class bookings must be made through our official channels, including the official website www.antidote-studios.com or any booking platform officially used by Antidote Studio. A booking is only confirmed once payment has been successfully completed and a confirmation has been issued.

Payment

Full payment is required at the time of booking in order to secure a place in the class. Prices are displayed in Mauritian Rupees (MUR), unless otherwise stated.

Online payments are processed securely via MIPS MyPay / MCB payment gateway, or any other payment provider officially integrated by Antidote Studio. Antidote Studio does not store card details on its own systems.

Client Cancellations

Clients may cancel a booked class provided that the cancellation is made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled class time.

If you cancel 24+ hours before class You may choose between a full refund, or a rescheduled class or credit (subject to availability).
Cancellations under 24 hours Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled class are non-refundable and non-transferable. The session fee will be forfeited.

No-Shows

Failure to attend a booked class without cancelling within the required timeframe will be treated as a no-show. The session is automatically forfeited and no refund, rescheduling or credit will be issued.

Late Arrivals

Clients must arrive on time and are encouraged to arrive at least 10 minutes before the class starts. Late arrivals may be refused entry for safety reasons and to avoid disruption to the class. If entry is refused due to late arrival, the session will be considered as used and will not be refunded or credited.

Studio Cancellation

Antidote Studio reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a class when necessary, including instructor unavailability, operational issues, safety concerns, insufficient attendance, technical problems or force majeure events.

If we cancel your class You will be entitled to choose between a full refund, or a rescheduled class or credit (subject to availability).

Refund Processing

Refunds may take 5 to 10 business days, or longer in some cases, depending on the payment provider, bank processing times and the Client's card issuer or bank.

Dress Code & Studio Rules

For hygiene, safety and comfort, all Clients must wear appropriate sportswear suitable for Pilates practice. Clothing should be fitted enough to allow instructors to observe posture and alignment safely.

Grip socks are mandatory Grip socks / non-slip Pilates socks are required for all classes. Bare feet and regular socks are strictly prohibited for hygiene and safety reasons. Grip socks are available for purchase at the studio reception, subject to stock availability.

Clients with long hair are required to tie their hair during sessions.

Clients must respect instructors, staff members, other participants, the equipment and the studio environment. Antidote Studio reserves the right to refuse access or remove any Client who behaves inappropriately, disrupts a class, fails to follow instructions or does not comply with studio rules.
 

Minimum Age

Access to classes is restricted to individuals aged 16 years and above.

Participants under the age of 16 may only attend if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and with the prior consent of Antidote Studio. Parents or legal guardians remain fully responsible for minors at all times while on the premises.

ATD Collective Ltd shall not be held liable for any injury, incident or damage involving minors accessing the studio in breach of these conditions.

Health, Medical Disclaimer & Client Responsibility

By booking and attending a class, the Client declares and warrants that they are in good physical condition and fit to participate in Pilates reformer and Pilates mat classes, and that no medical condition, injury, physical limitation or other circumstance prevents them from safely participating.

Physical activity involves inherent risks of injury. The Client acknowledges and accepts these risks and participates entirely at their own risk. Clients are strongly advised to consult a qualified healthcare professional before beginning any exercise program, especially if they have any medical condition, injury, pregnancy, recent surgery or physical limitation.

Clients must inform the instructor before class of any injury, medical condition, physical limitation, pregnancy or other issue that may affect their ability to participate safely. Antidote Studio reserves the right to refuse participation if, in its reasonable opinion, a Client's condition may pose a risk to themselves or others.

All instructions, corrections and advice provided by Antidote Studio instructors are general guidance only and do not replace medical advice, diagnosis or treatment from a qualified healthcare professional.

Pregnancy

Important notice Pilates reformer and Pilates mat classes are not recommended for pregnant clients, unless the class is specifically adapted for pregnancy and the Client has obtained appropriate medical clearance.

Prenatal classes or adapted sessions may occasionally be offered. Even where such classes are available, participation remains entirely at the Client's own risk. Antidote Studio recommends that pregnant Clients consult a healthcare professional before participating and follow medical advice at all times.

Where relevant, it may be recommended to discontinue practice during the third trimester or whenever advised by a healthcare professional. Antidote Studio and ATD Collective Ltd shall not be held liable for any injury, pregnancy-related complication, discomfort or incident occurring during or after participation in any activity at the studio.

Liability

All Pilates reformer and Pilates mat classes are undertaken at the Client's own risk. ATD Collective Ltd and Antidote Studio shall not be held responsible for injuries, accidents, physical damage, material damage, immaterial damage, direct loss or indirect loss suffered by the Client as a result of using the facilities, attending classes or participating in activities, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct by ATD Collective Ltd or its employees.

Antidote Studio undertakes to use reasonable efforts to maintain safe facilities, quality equipment and professionally conducted classes. The Client remains responsible for listening to their body, following instructions, stopping when necessary and informing the instructor immediately of any discomfort, pain or concern.

Loss, Theft & Personal Belongings

Clients are responsible for their personal belongings at all times. ATD Collective Ltd and Antidote Studio shall not be held liable for any loss, theft, damage or disappearance of personal belongings, whether inside the studio, reception area, changing area or any other part of the premises.

Right to Refuse Service

Antidote Studio reserves the right to refuse entry, cancel a booking or remove a Client from the premises if the Client:

  • Arrives late and cannot safely join the class
  • Does not comply with the dress code or grip socks requirement
  • Behaves disrespectfully or inappropriately
  • Does not follow instructor instructions or studio rules
  • Presents a safety, hygiene or operational risk
  • Provides false information or misuses the booking/payment system

Where access is refused due to breach of these Terms & Conditions, Antidote Studio may treat the session as used and no refund or credit will be issued.

Fraud & Chargeback Policy

Any fraudulent transaction, attempted fraud, misuse of payment details, false claim, abusive refund request or unjustified chargeback attempt may result in suspension of access to Antidote Studio services, cancellation of bookings, permanent ban from the studio and, where necessary, legal action.

Before raising a dispute with your bank Clients are encouraged to contact Antidote Studio directly at antidote.mauritius@gmail.com for any payment issue, duplicate charge, booking error or refund request before initiating a chargeback.
 

Website, App & Technical Issues

Antidote Studio shall not be held responsible for interruptions, delays, technical failures, viruses, external system issues, internet problems, payment gateway downtime or booking platform errors affecting the website, app or online booking/payment systems.

In the event of a technical issue, Antidote Studio will make reasonable efforts to assist the Client and resolve the matter where possible.

 

Privacy Policy

Antidote Studio is committed to protecting Clients' personal information. We may collect personal data such as name, email address, phone number, booking information and payment confirmation details for the purpose of managing bookings, processing payments, communicating with Clients, improving services and complying with legal or administrative obligations.

Payment card information is processed securely by the payment gateway and is not stored by Antidote Studio.

Personal data may be shared with service providers strictly where necessary, including payment providers, booking systems or technical partners used to operate the website and booking process.

Antidote Studio handles personal data in accordance with applicable laws in Mauritius, including the Data Protection Act 2017. Clients may contact us at antidote.mauritius@gmail.com for any question relating to their personal data.
 

Payment Security

All online payments are processed through secure payment systems. Transactions are protected through SSL encryption and processed via MIPS MyPay / MCB payment gateway or another approved payment provider. Antidote Studio does not store Clients' card details.

When choosing an online payment option, the Client's payment information is securely processed by the payment provider and/or banking partner. Card information is encrypted during transmission over the internet.
 

Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights relating to the website, services, class materials, brand name, logo, design, texts, images, digital content and any other material associated with Antidote Studio are the exclusive property of ATD Collective Ltd, unless otherwise stated.

Any reproduction, distribution, modification, copying, commercial use or unauthorized use of these elements without prior written consent from ATD Collective Ltd is strictly prohibited.
 

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Mauritius. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms & Conditions, the use of the website, bookings, payments or participation in Antidote Studio classes shall be subject to the applicable jurisdiction of the courts of Mauritius.
